StoryCats Consulting:
Jobs and Regenerative Projects
StoryCats’ Integrated Local Development Projects (ILDP) focus on collaborations to create real change through environmental projects.
Using regenerative coral reef science, the key goal of The Coral Champions Indonesia project is to cultivate scalable business models that create jobs at the village level while regenerating coral reefs.

In Indonesia, StoryCats is working with the OK OCE Foundation and others to make large-scale coral reef renewal possible.
Guided by the research of Dr. Steve Palumbi, Stanford University professor of marine sciences, the project implements the science behind finding, testing, growing, planting and protecting heat-resistant corals. Using the Palumbi Coral Regeneration Method, the resilient corals serve as a foundation for renewing reefs, much like farmers planting the best crops for their land and climate.
By translating science into actionable strategies, the StoryCats team is helping to ensure that coral reefs—and the ecosystems and communities that depend on them—have a fighting chance in the face of climate change.
